REFUND POLICY
IF WE CANCEL: The Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel programs due to insufficient enrollments or other unforeseen circumstances. Participants are notified and full refunds are given. Credit Card refunds are issued within three days of the program being cancelled; check refunds, issued by the Township’s Finance & Administrative Services Department, may take up to 30 days from the date the program is cancelled.
IF YOU CANCEL: To cancel a registration, you must provide a written statement (email or mail) to the Recreation Department. Instructors are not authorized to issue refunds or credits.
MISSED PROGRAMS: Due to the structure of our program we cannot provide make ups for programs missed.
REFUNDS: Refunds (less a $5 processing fee per program) are given by check or credit to your credit card if we are contacted via mail or email, five full business days in advance of the start date of the originally scheduled program. Refunds for Travel are handled separately and on a case-by case basis. Notify the travel coordinator if you cannot take a scheduled trip for which you are registered.
CREDITS: If you contact our office by email or mail, less than five full business days in advance of the originally scheduled start date, but before the day the program begins, a credit voucher (less a $5 processing fee per program) is issued. For weekend programs, notice must be given by 3 pm on the Friday prior to the start of program. Credit vouchers may not be redeemed for cash but may be applied toward registration fees. Credit vouchers are not transferable and are valid for two years from the date of issue. You are mailed or emailed a copy of your credit voucher for your records. To redeem your credit voucher, you must mention it at the time of registration. No credits, transfers or refunds are issued on the day of program or thereafter. We are unable to honor requests based on family emergencies, business travel or changes to your personal or work schedule.
If you are unable to participate in your program due to a personal medical condition, we can consider your request for a refund or credit (less a $5 processing fee per program) if you provide our office with a physician’s statement on official letterhead stating the medical condition and restrictions. We review your request and make a decision within five business days of receipt regarding a refund or credit voucher.
